It's been the busiest month and a half I've ever had here in Colorado. I've already done more than I could ever say in one post. I've been having some trouble with Google Plus, so I may start posting updates here. For those who don't know I've already gone to a near by coffeeshop twice. My confidence has exploded. Of course, about the time you start feeling confident in your abilities to do something they add a fresh challenge. Then you conquer it and feel a billion times more self confident. The toughest issue here is it's a rough spiritual environment. Not many of the students are Christian, which also makes it tough socially. I just had a wonderful time eating tacos with one Christian student, her roommate and mine. We played a round of uno. I'm really learning to rely on the Lord for everything out here. He's gotten me out of every situation so far when I've gotten lost. We have a secret santa program going on right now. You had to right your name in Braille on an index card if you wanted to participate. A day came when all of we participants had to draw one of those cards from a box. We have to give small things to whom ever the person whose name is on the card we drew for roughly two weeks, culminating with a $15-20 gift for our Christmass party. I've heard my person say they're really liking the stuff I've secretly given them. No one is supposed to know who their santa is until the party. It

Been a while since last post.
It's been almost a year since I posted here. I'd run in to some problems with Jaws not working well with the sight. I hope that, since Freedom Scientific has released a newer version, things will work better. I was supposed to go to a web accessibility meeting today, but I just don't feel up to it. Grandma being in the hospital with pneumonia has really taken it out of all of us. Mom and Dad are out possibly looking at puppies! Nathan wants one for his birthday, and Dad had mentioned wanting one a while back. I'm surprised Google didn't shut down my blog since I hadn't done anything with it for so long. I haven't done much whistling lately what with being in college. I'm hoping to change that this Summer. Boy, Nathan's really excited about the prospect of a dog of his own. He's been watching lots of dog related TV shows the past couple of days. He just came in asking me if I would call Mom and Dad to see what they're doing lol! He said he was worried something might have happened; but...

How can atheists exist after listening to "Be Thou my Vision?
I was just listening to clips of different renditions of "Be Thou my Vision" on Itunes. I got to thinking, how on earth could atheists exist after hearing such a passionate song? Just now, listening to that song broke any hardness I may have been feeling towards God. For those who may not know this, that song isn't just my favorite song, it's my life anthum. That's what I live by. I came up with a new description all my own for God's presence... like warm peas with sugar and butter melted over them. Just a wonderfull sweatness, especially when I pray. Let's see now, as for Satan, gotta be green beans! I caved and bought an Ipod the other day. So far it seems really confusing.

Got Jaws in today!
I'm so happy because I finally got Jaws in today! It's a lot better than the version I was using at school, and Window eyes doesn't even hold a candle to it! I have some nicer voices in this version. I've got ACT's tomorrow, so I'd better get to bed.

Oh, how I hate facebook
Oh how I hate facebook,
Oh how I hate facebook.
Oh, how I hate facebook,
cause Window eyes doesn't work right! Can't wait to get Jaws, then maybe things will be somewhat better. Window eyes is the cause for the new theam. Hopefully, it won't stop me from typing again.

Psalms are comforting
Pastor just talked about the Holy Spirit being our comforter... just was reading a psalm and thinking about how unique they are. I read Psalm 102. It always amazes me how, inspite of all the problems the various authors undergoe, they always praise the Lord at the end of the Psalm. My plan is to read the Psalms throughout my radiation treatment this summer when things have the potential to be rather uncomfortable.
